About BookieSlip
BookieSlip is a free-to-play, sweepstakes-based sports prediction app operated by BookieSlip, Inc., a Delaware corporation. It is intended for U.S. residents 21 years of age or older. It is not a real-money sportsbook and does not accept real-money wagers.
This page explains how to permanently delete your BookieSlip account and personal data, what is deleted, what we may be required to retain, and how long the process takes. It applies to the BookieSlip mobile app and website. For the full picture of how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
Two Ways to Request Deletion
You can delete your account and its associated data in either of the following ways. Both result in permanent, server-side deletion of your account.
Delete directly inside the BookieSlip app
Open the app while signed in and follow these steps:
- Open the BookieSlip app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to your Account, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted.
Confirming triggers a permanent server-side deletion request. Under the hood, the app calls DELETE /users/account/ against our backend, which removes your account and personal data as described in Section 3 (subject to the limited legal retention in Section 4). Once deletion completes you will be signed out and will no longer be able to log in with those credentials.
Email us to request deletion
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:
- Send an email to privacy@bookieslip.com.
- Send it from the email address registered to your BookieSlip account so we can verify the request belongs to you.
- Put "BookieSlip Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.
We may confirm your identity by verifying control of your registered account email before we act on the request; we will not ask for more information than we already hold. You may also write to support@bookieslip.com and we will route your request to the privacy team.
Deleting your account is irreversible. Your profile, gameplay history, posts, and any unused virtual balances are permanently removed and cannot be restored, recovered, or transferred. Virtual coins have no cash value and are non-refundable. If you have a pending redemption, complete it before requesting deletion.
What Data Is Deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete the personal data associated with your account, including the following categories.

| Posts & messages | Social posts, comments, room and chat messages, and any content you shared to social surfaces. |
| Uploaded photos | Optional photos you attached to posts, and any optional voice audio you sent to the AI "Bobbi" feature. |
| Device & push token | Your device push notification token (FCM) and associated notification preferences. |
The BookieSlip mobile app does not collect your location and ships no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. It collects only what is needed to run the app: email, name, date of birth (21+ verification), user ID, device/push token, and the content you choose to create (posts, room messages, optional post photos, and optional voice audio to the AI "Bobbi" feature).
What May Be Retained & Why
Because BookieSlip is an age-restricted (21+) sweepstakes platform, a limited set of records may be retained after deletion where the law requires it — for legal, fraud-prevention, and compliance reasons. These records are kept only as long as necessary, then permanently deleted.

Retained records are minimized, access-controlled, and stored securely. Where we keep data solely for analytics after the active window, it is anonymized so it cannot reasonably be linked to you. Full retention details are in Section 13 of our Privacy Policy.
Processing Timeline
In-app deletions are actioned immediately: confirming Account → Settings → Delete Account triggers a server-side deletion of your account right away.
For email requests, and for the removal of your data from active systems, we complete deletion within 30 days of receiving (and, where needed, verifying) your request. Copies held in encrypted backups are purged on our rolling backup cycle, within 90 days of the production deletion. Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for the periods described in Section 4 and are then permanently deleted.
